Advanced Corporate Coach Training Curriculum
A true corporate coaching culture is one of the most powerful vehicles for creating a dynamic organization geared to the needs of the 21st century. While this is broadly recognized in the business community, few organizations have realized this potential due to the lack of truly effective coach training.

Team Thinking: Accelerated 1-Day Team Coaching Program
Commitment, communication, collaboration and inspiration
Behind almost every great product or service is an effective and inspired team that can work with a single focus. Effective collaboration is the primary currency of the 21st century organization.
However, most people in the workforce today do not have a day-to-day experience of a working in a truly collaborative environment. When we tell the truth about personal experience of work, people report "being blocked" or "shut down." In many organizations today, being a "team player" has become a euphemism for "doing what I say" or "working long hours."
The Team Thinking program assists participants to tell the truth about their experience of working with others, build an understanding of how truly great teams function and step into a new model of communication and decision making. The program builds an effective foundation for a powerful shift in the day-to-day interactions that organizations run on.
The day begins with a simple understanding of how the brain works when humans function together as a team. This builds into an interactive inquiry in which participants get to tell the truth about their communication habits and begin a dialogue that will allow them to move effectively between the 3 thinking systems for communication and decision-making.
The program is built on short exercises in which participants build a direct experience of using the reptilian or reactive, mammalian or emotional and human or visual areas of the brain. As participants begin to understand and alter with their existing language patterns in each system a new group model for team thinking is established. Team members become excited and energized as the foundation is set for new levels of collaboration, innovation and creativity.
As participants leave the program they commit to a set of strategies and agreements and an initial action plan to function from their team-thinking model. This is supported with an to an implementation plan and a structure of accountability.
The coaching sessions are essential to re-presence the training as participants confront their existing habits and old communication patterns Successes are celebrated as participants are supported to operate inside of the team thinking model.
Based on the work of Marilyn Atkinson PhD, this work has been conducted with over a thousand participants worldwide. This program has been documented to produce a powerful and lasting shift from individual to team thinking styles in corporate teams.
Recommended Program Format: One full day or two 4-hour training sessions with four 45-minute coaching follow-up sessions.
